A message from the past
How to time travel, newsletter edition
Happy New Year, my coruscant friends!
That’s a little weird to write because the newsletter you just opened is truly a message from the past.
I’m literally sitting in my kitchen right now (well, the “now” that was when I wrote this back in mid-December), but when you read this, I’ll likely be many time zones ahead of you (in the future!), returning from a family vacation.
Pardon the pun, but that’s a trip.
Something else that’s a trip? The fact that this newsletter is now a year old! I’m so grateful to all of you who’ve joined the Illuminate Me tribe and taken this journey with me. Without you, I’d just be talking to myself in my home office or shouting into the ether about ‘80s pop references.
Despite its challenges, 2021 was an amazing year for me. And after my brief year-end respite with my fam, I’m even more excited to continue all the good juju and take that positive momentum into 2022.
Next week, I’ll share with you my word for the new year, but for now, I’ll leave you with these two: THANK YOU!
